Hamar – first impression.

It’s… small. Really small, about 30,000 folks live here. But some people say that small is beautiful, and they’re absolutely right. In Norway you probably can’t find an ugly city, it’s just impossible. It’s like – å lete etter en nål i en høystakk – looking for a needle in a haystack.

2 days in Oslo.

Exploring new city usually starts when you arrive. But when it happens after 5 pm, it can be really hard. So you began to just wander around new places, looking like child who got their candy. Every building and every person mesmerize you, and you try to capture everything in one breath. Then the night suddenly comes and you set your alarm at 7 am, so you can see everything tomorrow. It’s the only time, when the hour on the alarm doesn’t upset you, but exictes you.

4 days in Bergen – Mount Ulriken [4].

So this the final day of my visit in Bergen. Because I love mountain hiking and had nothing fun to do in the city, I thought why not go ‘carpe diem’ and hike to Mount Ulriken. 4 days in Bergen – Mostraumen [3].

After all these misty mist I was so hopeless about the weather that I was kind shocked when the sun came to the city. It was really hot and summerish, so I decided to go to the floibanen again. Because I had got  tickets to Mostraumen at 1 am., I had some time free till this hour.  I have never made better decision. Sky was so clear that day, so I basically saw the whole Bergen from the top of the Fløyen.

4 days in Bergen – Misty Mountain [2].

So…all people make mistakes. So do I.

I woke up after not-so-good sleep (I never sleep well in unfamiliar places) and ate some cheap yoghurt. I thought it was really nice morning and the moment I went outside, I didn’t change my mind. There was some clouds around peaks of mountains, but that’s all.

4 days in Bergen – Arriving [1].

The moment I have heard of this magical city, I wanted so badly to go there, that I came home and booked myself tickets. Yes, that sounds crazy, but for me, if I didn’t do something spontaneous, I probably wouldn’t go anywhere. And, to be honest, tickets to Bergen with WizzAir are really cheap, and I didn’t need to think more about it. Second think I did was to find someone on couchsurfing to take me for those 3 nights.
