Couple of February thoughts.

With the snow melting, birds singing and sun shining, the hope is rising. Hope for the better days, for the world to change back to the ‘old times’. February was an odd month.

I go to work in 15 minutes but I just remembered that today it’s Thursday and I haven’t posted anything in like… 2 weeks or so?

Back when I was a student, it was easier to be creative. New places, new people, new subjects to learn about, all those new experiences. However, when you’re stuck in work-home cycle, the inspiration have to come from different places. Today it was the sun.

I just have such a vivid memories from when I was in Bergen. I remember hiking alone on this one mountain surrounding the city, in a sunny warm day and thinking how lucky I must be, because my peers (fellow students) certainly can’t afford such trip. Freedom. I had plans to go to Bergen this year, even if my partner wouldn’t agree, I would go alone – although now it would be also time to go home. To Poland. And the saddest thing is that if I decide to use my free from work for a trip to Poland I have to count in all those tests and quarantines… those days that I could use hiking up some mountain. Anyway, that’s the dilemma I have to deal with now.

I don’t know, I’m just thinking thoughts.

I’m still drawing digitally from time to time (although it’s more and more rare to see me with tablet doing it) and I often think on what I should put the most focus. Should I put all my creativity on my blog or am I suppose to balance those two? Time will tell.

I’m finishing writing here already on 2nd March, so it’s only one month left to påske (easter). Times flies… I’m gonna do some spring posts and maybe some poems in the coming weeks. Right now I’m sitting with swollen face due to the tooth I got pulled out yesterday. Trust me, the pain is real. Also I cut my hair so now it’s short and I love it! I don’t know why I thought that long hair was such a need for me.

Anyway, I hope you guys will have a lovely and sunny week ahead. Here’s very sunny right now and hopefully it will stay like that. I’m so pale, I need all the sun possible. See you soon with another post.
