Warm and moisty days are for now over. One day came an unexpected thunder and took away all the heat, and also surprised us on a walk, which ended up in us running like crazy.
It was the first day with a little bit colder weather and we both had free so we decided to hit the road (I mean walk) on the path nearby our apartment. The flowers and trees are in full bloom, and small animals and insects are everywhere, so I decided to take a chance and took the camera with me.
And I wasn’t disappointed. The road next to a small lake was occupied by teeny tine froggies, which I suppose are just young fronts, that just recently went on the ground (because frogs grow up from the eggs in the water). There were so many on the road, we had to be very careful with stepping, not to kill one of them accidentally.
Then just after a couple of minutes, we heard the faraway thunder sound. I love thunder, so I got excited, but the clouds above us didn’t promise anything good. It started to rain out of nowhere and we weren’t prepared clothing-wise at all, so I had to take my only jacket to cover the camera bag and run like I have a limp. “That’s the worst day!” – my boyfriend was saying over and over again when we were trying to get as fast as a possible home. Well, he can be little bit overdramatic.
I love thunder. It’s unpredictable, thrilling, and brings colder days ahead. I’m not a big fan of big heat, sweaty backs, and sunburns if you know what I mean.
Anyway, thank you so much for reading and see you soon with a new post! I hope you’ all are doing fine.
