Woke up to a winter wonderland.

There are only a few times in our adult lives when we feel the same as when we felt in our childhood. 20 cm of snow (around) is one of the rare things that makes us smile like kids (before the bitter reality comes: cleaning all that yourself).

My New Year’s Eve was as boring as you could imagine. We saw some fireworks, I drank some beer, played some games and that’s it. I don’t complain – thanks to that I had a good sleep, no morning headaches and was able to go for little photo shooting in the morning. And I know for sure I’m not the only one who spent their Thursday’s evening similar way, especially due to the times that we live in. In perfect world I would be now with my family, but we all know how it is.

I didn’t found a good way to transfer photos from my camera to my laptop yet, so it takes quite a while every time. First from camera to phone, then from phone to email, and from email to desktop. If only my laptop had a port for SD card, but unfortunately it doesn’t.

I hope this time snow won’t melt after one or two days like last time (we had literally no snow for Christmas), because there’s something very disheartening about disappearing snow in one of the coldest countries in Europe. I could write this and that about global warming, but I know that I’m not smart enough for it, but even with almost zero knowledge about it, I’m aware that it’s happening. Not in future, but here and now.

I hope you all had a good holidays. Myself, it could have been better, that’s why I’m crossing fingers for 2021. Let it be a good year.
