Our trip was just before the country decided to put everyone who has been traveling abroad between the 27th of February and the 12th of March into 14-days quarantine. As for today (when I’m writing this; Friday), we have to sit at home until Monday, so it’s not so bad.
We went to Hamar just because the weather was lovely, and we haven’t visited this city properly in a very long time. Mostly because the day ends very fast and even if we go out of our place at 2:30 pm, when we arrive there it’s already just before the sunset. So not so much time for a long walk by the lake.
The city wasn’t empty, the shopping center where we went to get a new laptop didn’t look like a scene for the Chernobyl movie – people were there like usual. Just something was in the air. When one woman started coughing, you could easily see that people are scared and they gave her looks. You know what kinda.
But of course, we were very cautious, because we are very much aware of how this virus is dangerous for some. We had hand sanitizer everywhere with us, we washed hands regularly and we didn’t come close to people. It sounds like a lot, but it really isn’t.
Now we stay at home because we have to and because it’s the best thing to do in times like that. To avoid people, shops and touching things, to wash hands and surfaces often and to stay hydrated. My partner goes to work on Tuesday, but we will see for how long before they will have to shut down this company also. Just one sick person could appear and they have to close everything.
We will see what it will be like. For now, even after Monday I have to stay at home because I have no job for now – the restaurant I work in has only take-away for now and I’m a waitress… so basically, no work to do.
I hope you all healthy, and remember to stay at home if you’re in dangerous zones. Or if you feel like you’re getting something, then avoid going out. For yourself, and for the others.
See you on Wednesday with a new post! If you would like me to write about a certain topic, let me know down in the comments. Have a nice following week!
