Skog – a poem collection.

I wrote a couple of poems which circulate around subject of forest so I decided to gather them together in samling : collection.

“Den dagen solen skinte”

Jeg hadde ønsket meg skikkelig
at solen ville alltid skinnet like sterkt som i dag

***

I really wanted that
the sun would always shine as brightly as it does today
Because then I get a happiness-like feeling
Which lasts longer than usual

In the forest where there is peace and birds singing
There I will sit down and forget my name
There I will stare at the river slowly running
Where is it running? Somewhere towards the sun’s bed
Because it’s going to sleep soon
And will take that happiness all

“Tre”

Lykke
Vi er her for å
Blomstre verden
For de andre.

Not everyone has to succeed
Some of us just do not give enough to the world
Some of us just hide somewhere in the woods
And we do not make a sound: we listen to the finest songs
The conversation between the birds and the dialogue between the trees
It is there where all gathers and makes sense
Not everyone
Is made for
Happiness
We are here to
Flourish the world
For the others.

“Take me home”

Take me home, where I belong
Roof and windows? No;
leaves and branches
and bushes and life
and peace is where I belong

Or I will walk by myself,
Like I have always been walking
In the past, presence and upcoming days
Weeks, months, and years
Leaves will fall and someone will pick
Them up

I will fall and someone…

Thank you so much for reading. All of the poems are mine so please don’t copy or anything. Anyway, have a wonderful Easter.
