I always forget – a poem.

do you also seem to

not remember

the sunsets we saw

middle of december?

it was the most

beautiful I have

ever laid my eyes

on

why don’t I remember

the sunsets

from middle of

december?

where was I that day

if not in the middle of

nowhere

and looking at the sky

where was I

those days

when sun sets sky on fire

above frozen hills of death

where were we when birds laid to sleep

and the yellow bulb lit the sky before

the darkness came?
